Olen koulutustaustaltani luonnontieteiden kandidaatti (Biolääketiede) Turun Yliopistosta. Lisäksi minulla on maisterin tutkinnot terveysinformatiikasta (Karolinska Institutet) ja Terveysinnovaatioiden kaupallistamisesta (Copenhagen Business School). Urani aikana olen muun muassa työskennellyt terveysteknologian konsulttina, koodannut kliinisiä päätöksenteon tukijärjestelmiä ja tehnyt prekliinistä tutkimusta Washingtonin Yliopistossa.

Toimin erityisasiantuntijana HealthHub Finland EDIH -hankkeessa, missä vastaan projektin yleisestä koordinoinnista ja raportoinnista Euroopan Komissiolle.

Olen erityisesti kiinnostunut terveysdata-pohjaisten ja life science -alan innovaatioiden kaupallistamisesta. Koulutukseni ansiosta tunnen pohjoismaiden terveydenhuollon eri rakenteet ja terveysalan innovaatioekosysteemit hyvin.
