MitViDi – Mittarit vihreän digitalisaation julkisiin ICT-hankintoihin

Hankepartnerit: Turun yliopisto (päätoteuttaja), Turku Science Park Oy, TIEKE Tietoyhteiskunnan kehittämiskeskus ry, Lappeenrannan-Lahden teknillinen yliopisto LUT

Rahoitus: Kokonaisbudjetti 522 970 €, josta Euroopan aluekehitysrahaston ja Suomen valtion osuus 418 376 € (80 %). Hanketta rahoitetaan Uudenmaan liiton koordinoimasta REACT-EU-rahastosta, Euroopan aluekehitysrahastosta. Rahoitus on myönnetty osana Euroopan unionin COVID-19-pandemian johdosta toteuttamia toimia.

Sisältö: Tieto- ja viestintä teknologian ympäristövaikutukset tulevat lisääntymään yhteiskunnan digitalisoituessa. Vaikka digitalisoitumisella on myönteisiä vaikutuksia hiilidioksidipäästöihin, on myös ICT-sektorin otettava huomioon hiilineutraaliustavoitteet. Tässä hankkeessa kehitetään ICT-järjestelmähankintojen (sis. ohjelmisto- ja laitteistokomponentit) elinkaaren aikaisten ympäristövaikutusten arviointia luomalla selkeitä mittareita sekä kriteereitä ympäristövaikutusten ennustamiseen ja seuraamiseen hankintojen, ICT-järjestelmien kehitystyön sekä käytön aikana. Julkisten hankintojen kautta hanke pyrkii vaikuttamaan erityisesti ICT-alan yritysten kykyyn sekä halukkuuteen tuottaa entistä vihreämpiä ratkaisuja.

Turku Science Park Oy:n tehtävät: Turku Science Park Oy:n roolina on toteuttaa yrityshaastatteluja yritysten osaamisen ja lähtötilanteen arvioimiseksi sekä luoda alueelle kestävän ICT:n osaamiskeskittymä.
