I have a bachelor’s degree in Biomedicine from the University of Turku. Additionally, I have master’s degrees in health informatics (Karolinska Institutet) and in commercialization of healthcare innovations (Copenhagen Business School). During my career, I have among other things worked as a health technology consultant, coded clinical decision support systems and conducted preclinical research at the University of Washington.
At Turku Business Region I work as a senior specialist in the HealthHub Finland EDIH project, where I am responsible for the general coordination of the project and reporting to the European Commission.
I am particularly interested in the commercialization of health data and life science innovations. Thanks to my education, I know the Nordic healthcare systems and the health innovation ecosystems well.
