Funding: EU Horizon Innosup (Innovation Support). Total budget EUR 4.97 million, of which Turku Science Park Ltd.’s share EUR 342,000. Pilot funding for SMEs accounts for EUR 2 million of the total budget.
Project in a nutshell: The aim of the project is to offer innovative solutions to cross-sectoral and cross-border challenges, either public or private. Challenges are related to 3 focus areas: Health tech, Greentech & Smart city themes. Innovative solutions are discovered from SMEs and start-ups by bringing together different stakeholders of the industry value-chain to cooperate and innovate together. At the same time these SMEs and start-ups are supported in scaling their solutions and products globally.
Duties of Turku Science Park Ltd.: Leader role in work package 2: Challenge mapping. The goal is to organize the collection of at least 300 challenges from organizations. Virtual Library of Challenges will be created.
