Turku Science Park Ltd and ITCorner (Wroclaw, Poland) will sign a new European ICT Alliance agreement on the 14th of July. The deal is set to further advance the co-operation within the network of European ICT professionals. Later on, Interizon Gdansk and SIBB Berlin are also set to become signatories.
The signing will take place in Hanko, Finland, at the Regatta Spa Hotel. Participants of the event include Jan Markiewicz, II Secretary from Political and Economic Section at the Embassy, as well as the representatives of 27 ICT businesses from Southern Poland.
The representatives of this network will also take to the seas on five sailboats, which will start their journeys from the coastal hubs of Kasnäs and Dalsbruk. During the journey, the Finnish and Polish team members can exchange experiences in building international co-operation on European markets.
Turku Science Park Ltd’s Network Manager Michael Lindholm will be representing the Turku Business Region on the trip. “This agreement will set up the framework for an extensive network of players in the European ICT field. The goal is to facilitate information exchange, networking, and co-operation, and to start up larger projects together. We have already worked on this initiative for over one and a half years,” says Lindholm.
